Mambo Tea House is a Cuban Restaurant and Asian Tea Lounge located at 98
Park Avenue in Rutherford, NJ. Established in 2008, the inspiration for Mambo Tea
House emerged from the two owner’s culture combination. The husband and
wife team’s cultural background are Caribbean and Chinese, respectively.

We specialize in authentic Cuban cuisine as well as other popular Latin dishes from
Spain, Argentina, Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico. Some of our signature dishes
are Ropa Vieja, Paella, Churrasco, and Mofongo. Equally impressive are our wide
selection of loose-leaf teas in full teapot service. With over 40 different varieties
to choose from, ranging from Black, Green, White, Oolong, Herbal, Rooibos, Red,
and even Flowering options, this establishment could easily become a premier spot
for tea connoisseurs.

The “Combo at the Mambo” can also be seen in the eclectic décor, which includes
bamboo wood floors, floral and Cuban cigar wallpapers, wooden ceiling fans painted
with hibiscus flowers, and a statue of Buddha centered in the back room.

Our dining area can accommodate up to 60 guests. We offer Lunch, Dinner, Party Menus,
Catering Menu, Student Lunch Specials, and Kids Menu. Please inquire about our delivery
service.

Please note that Rutherford is a dry town. We, do however, offer the mixes to make Sangria, Classic Mojitos, Passionfruit Mojitos, Guava Mojitos and Pina Coladas!

teas; Wednesday nights – complimentary pitcher of Sangria mix (must bring own wine),
